- For individuals who are not eligible for regular/traditional unemployment insurance. These individuals may include those who are self-employed, independent contractors, gig economy workers, clergy and those working for religious organizations as well as others who may not be covered by the regular/traditional UI program.

North Carolina

- Three different programs to provide additional unemployment support for individuals in need, based on their previous type of employment or use of other unemployment benefits. *Note the PUA program is not available until April 25, 2020.

- An initiative led by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with VistaPrint, is a grant-making initiative offering short-term relief for small employers in the United States and its territories to be dispersed as $5,000 grants.

- Private employers, including non-profits, carrying on a trade or business in 2020 that have had to stop or slow operations while maintaining employment
