Carter Bank & Trust is pleased to announce the addition of veteran Commercial and Industrial Banker Bill Ingram to its Commercial Banking team in Charlotte.

Ingram brings more than 20 years of banking experience to Carter, most recently having worked at HomeTrust Bank. His career has also included stops at Wells Fargo and Regions Bank and he will work out of the brand new East Morehead office, in Charlotte.

“I really believe in the leadership and wanting to grow the Bank’s presence in Charlotte,” Ingram said. “There is no shortage of competition in Charlotte and there is more coming every day. That said, I feel like Carter is well positioned to succeed here by knowing the local landscape and clients, along with having local decision making and leadership that believes in us.”

Regional Executive Zac Snyder said he has a long relationship with Ingram and is happy the stars finally aligned to be able to work together.

“Bill brings a wealth of experience, knowledge of the market and established relationships to Carter and I couldn’t be more excited to have him join our team,” Snyder said. “Bill has a passion for industry, seeing and understanding how things are made and turning that knowledge into helping businesses make the right financial decisions.”

Ingram completed his undergraduate work at the University of Kentucky and holds an MBA from Thomas Moore College. He lives in the Charlotte-area with his wife and two children.
