This past April, Carter Bank added banking veteran Justin Barr to its Credit Administration team, to serve as SVP, Regional Credit Executive and Special Assets Director.

Barr’s career has included senior special assets positions with such national commercial lenders as CoBank and BMO Harris, as well as extensive financial advisory experience leading turn-around consulting projects and as an expert witness. Recognized as a restructuring expert, he has been widely quoted by leading financial news outlets, including the American Banker.

A third-generation alum of Indiana University, Barr brings more than 30 years of commercial banking and restructuring experience to Carter Bank.

Carter Bank’s SEVP and Chief Credit Officer Tony Kallsen said adding Barr to the credit team allows Carter to expand both its services and its footprint.
